HANNAH SUTTON – Program Director of EOC Johnson and Tarrant Counties

Hannah Sutton is the Program Director of the Education Opportunity Centers in Johnson & Tarrant Counties. Originally from Arlington, Texas, Hannah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Texas Arlington with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies in 2011.

Hannah comes from a family of educators, and she continues that trend as a part of EOC. Her parents were both first-generation, non-traditional college students and she has seen the effects of education firsthand on the trajectory of a person’s life and career. Hannah has over seven years of professional experience in higher education and non-profit organizations. Before joining ORS in 2017 as a College Access Advisor, Hannah worked as a College Readiness Training Program Coordinator at the National Math and Science Initiative, where she coordinated logistics for AP teacher training on a national scale, assisting teachers in their professional development and thereby supporting the success of college-bound students. Hannah then worked as an Undergraduate Admissions Coordinator at Tarleton University, supervising the application processing team and guiding students through the university admissions and registration process.

Hannah is passionate about women’s rights, social justice, and loves living in Cleburne. When not at the EOC office, Hannah enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her husband and son.
