Hannah Sutton is the Program Director of the Educational Opportunity Centers at ORS, serving Dallas, Johnson & Tarrant counties. Originally from Arlington, Texas, Hannah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Texas Arlington with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies in 2011. Professionally, Hannah comes from a previous background in college admissions and college readiness programs.
Hannah comes from a family of educators, and she continues that trend as a part of EOC. Her parents were both first-generation, non-traditional college students, and she has seen the effects of education firsthand on a person’s life and career trajectory. Hannah joined ORS in 2017 as a College Access Advisor and then served as the Assistant Director of ORS’s original EOC program in Johnson County.
Hannah is passionate about equal access to education and has a chip on her shoulder about for-profit programs. In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, camping, raising chickens on her suburban homestead, spending time with her family, and all things Halloween.
