Upward Bound Classic

Classic Upward Bound (UB) is a TRIO program that provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program supports high school students who will be the first in their families to graduate from college with a bachelor degree, low-income students, and academically at-risk students.
A key goal of UB is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in higher education and to support them as they pursue post-secondary enrollment in programs that lead to associate and bachelor degrees of value. At least two-thirds of program participants must be from both a first-generation college and low-income background.
We are proud to serve Alvarado and Venus Independent School Districts with one of our Upward Bound programs. Go Indians and Bulldogs!
